WEW: nearly all thrifted

top: children's place, vest: dkny thrifted, $3, shorts: thrifted, $2, shoes: converse, thrifted, $3

I haven't done a post about E's attire for a while. I figured it was about time. I'll be honest, I'd much rather post about him than me. I've started to notice that there aren't many places to buy cool eclectic clothes for boys on a tight budget. I hit the Old Navy now and then, but it seems like when I shop the regular budget friendly places I just don't find the style I'm looking for. Will the H&M coming to Utah have a kids section? I hope. A lot of E's wardrobe ends up being thrift. Where do you shop for your boys?

By the way, when did my baby boy become a big boy? He'll turn 2 this month (currently making party plans), and I can hardly believe the things he says and does. He's so funny and a total joy most of the time. He currently talks about himself in the 3rd person saying things like "he wants a drink." or "he's tired." On Saturday we were eating at a barbecue and he turned to me and said "I'm sitting on a chair eating strawberries." I was rather impressed. I'm doing my best to soak up our last few months of one on one BFF time.

Cuteness! The 3rd person talk is hilarious. I was hanging out with my niece and nephew this weekend, and they said some gems as well. One in particular was when I asked my 3 year old nephew to dance with me, he shouted "I AM NOT YOUR HUSBAND!" and ran away. Haha!

Gald to see someone else posts on their blog as late as I do. I like little E's converse. So cute.

E is such a cutie.

I have trouble dressing my lil guy too who is 5 years old. He has a penchant for character clothing, which I loathe....but my mother in law buys...so what can you do?

I mainly stick with Children's Place and Old Navy. But I'm like you, sometimes I'm disappointed in style {and price!}.

I'm pretty sure they will have a kid section! I can hardly wait for it to open! We shop at Target a lot in the clearence section. I have got some really cute tees for 2 bucks there you just really have to look.

So cute. I totally have that same vest for my little guy. I bought the whole outfit for like $12 at TJ maxx about 5 months before I even had him.
I love it...
I tend to get a good number of my boys clothes at gap and childrens place. I never pay full prices. The CP always has sales and coupon discounts and I normally only buy Gap stuff when it goes on sale. So a lot of the time I am buying clothes out of season for the next year. Oh well, saves me money and it's fun to get out that box of clothes to see what you bought.
