RFF: rad sandals

top: old navy maternity, $4, DI@ centerville. skirt: Rue 21 outlet. shoes: thrifted gift from melissa.

I'm currently nursing a major birthday party hangover. One less from any alcohol consumption, and more from the amount of work throwing a party (even of anticipated simplicity) takes. Add in pregnancy and 90 degree heat, and you've got a good solid 2 days of laying in bed to re-coup. Not happening in my wildest dreams. I have a ton to show you, and I can't wait. In the mean time, here's my latest pregnancy ensemble. Please notice my attempt to cover the spill on my belly with an endearing hand on the tummy pose. (A little lower Sar.)

I must admit that I'm getting to a point. The point where I don't want to be photographed anymore, and I only want to wear my husband's clothing. I've also officially lost any motivation to watch my weight gain. Send any encouraging words my way. :)

Speaking of encouraging. If there was ever a testament to the incredible results that thrifting can produce, it would be these shoes. My friend Melissa found them for $5 at the DI. Being a size 8 was has never been luckier. She generously gave them to me. The title of this post is in her rad honor.

Hoping to post birthday party pics tomorrow!

You look amazing no matter WHAT you wear. Seriously. It's all because you have great hair ;)

here's my encouragement (and self-lived motto): eat and enjoy it while you can! this is NOT a time to worry about weight, but a time to taste and see the joyous array of food around you!

there's plenty of days for dieting in the months ahead. and IF you nurse, no dieting is really necessary anyway!

you look beautiful, as always.

So brave for wearing heels when pregnant. I stuck to flats and flip flops!
