Shabby Apple Giveaway

Do you all know Shabby Apple? If you don't, let me tell you a bit about them.

Shabby Apple was founded by two lovely ladies who, after years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable, decided to do something about it. Shabby Apple's mission is to design and provide affordable, fashionable, hip dresses for women, little girls & mothers-to-be...without having to compromise anything else.

The charming Shabby Apple is generously giving an opportunity for you to win the cute and feminine Cider dress!  I personally selected a dress that I thought was classic and could be worn for many different occasions. I'd love to hear what you would wear it for, and how you would style it!

TO enter, be a follower of For the Love and leave a comment letting me know where and how you would wear the dress.

On Friday May 20th I will choose my favorite answer as a winner.

Open only to U.S. residents. (sorry!)
Good Luck!

This is darling! I love the color, love the neckline, love the perfect feminine and still classy length and love the fitted bodice. I want someone more deserving to win this, but I must comment on how darling it is. I would pair it with a cute belt and some cowboy boots... Erda style :) Love ya Sarah!

This is my favorite dress at Shabby Apple! Oooh - what a gorgeous color. I'd wear it with heels, with sandals, barefoot... I'd wear it out to lunch, out to dinner, out almost ANYWHERE. I'd wear it in Spring, in Summer, in Fall (I'm in Southern California so it's all pretty much the same!). My main accessory would be the smile I'd have every time I wear it. :)

Love this dress! Someone recently told me I look good in that color {so I'm looking for more things in that tone}..meaning, I'd probably where it just about everywhere. I think I'd pair it up with a light blue-complimentary colors, but unexpected. I could do that! ;)

This is an absolutely stellar dress, and gorgeous color. I don't know where I would wear this, but I think it would be adorable in engagement pictures. Or on an average day to school. It would look especially gorgeous with navy or black accessories.

This is such a cute dress..Can be worn anywhere! Since getting married, I had to get rid of a lot of my skirts and dresses because they weren't quite long enough so this would be awesome!

And I love orange!! This dress is so versatile and could be casual or dressy. Pick me!! :)

Sarah Katie said...

For my whole life it has been a struggle to find modest clothing. I dress up a lot. Three to four times a week, and modest dresses and skirts and tops are a must. Unfortunately the up and coming in the fashion world do not offer modest pretty dresses and such. They are always too short, or there just isn't enough there.

Whether or not I win this giveaway or not. I'm happy to learn about this little place. Because, even though I absolutely love to sew and make my own dresses. Sometimes that just isn't possible.

Be it that she is terminally ill and in a full-time care facilty I think this would be a wonderful way to add a splash of color and brighten her day as we spend the day picnicing and then ending the day w/an evening stroll around the grounds in her chair. It would make for a beautiful pic of mother and daughter.

Of course I would wear it on hot dates with my handsome hubby. But I think it is too cute to ever take it off so I would probably look so romantic cleaning in it and going on wild adventures in it. By "it" I mean this work of artsy perfection in the form of a dress.

I've been a follower for a looong time! And this dress is super cute. Where would I wear it you ask? Well, first I would wear it to church with some pearls, then because I have really messy kids, I'd have to wash it, then the second it came out of the dryer, I'd put it back on, ditch the kidos, and go on a walk with my hubby through are grassy field bearfoot, with a breeze in my face, then being that I'm prego, again, in about 2 months, I'll get to fat to wear it for a little while, but once this baby comes out, it is going back on. woot woot!

Hmmm....Let's see, I think I'd wear it on one of those lovely days, with my rainy boots, wildly curly hair (don't have it), my guitar, a crown of flowers in my hair, and my man on my arm (oops, don't have that either!)....so maybe this dress is the key to that dilemma???
In that case, I should probably wear it everywhere, just in case. To all my dates (dang it, another thing I don't have!), to my darling friend's wedding while I tear up the dance floor and smile coyly....everywhere ;) Then I'd wear it with beautiful ankle strap shoes ala the notebook, and I'd directly copy the Shabby Apple Girls hair, because let's face it, she's beautiful :)
So remember, the fate of my singledom rests on this dress, which you have the power to release to me!

Three Haikus About One Stellar Dress:

I'd wear the lovely
dress while performing my poems,
which I do often.

On rare dates with spouse,
I'm more rarely swanky; such
gowns would quite change that.

I've just had a son,
and all long to feel cute when
often spit up on.

I have the cutest little nieces ever! This dress would be perfect for doing a tea party in the backyard. We would sit at the little table out back, that I would decorate with a pretty table cloth and dainty tea cups. I would use cloth napkins too. I would have homemade snacks and lemonade and tea (for me). We would play music and dance in the grass. It will be a grand time!!
