a day of thrifting means your lucky day!

This week E and I took a trip out thrifting. On this particular day we were both feeling especially excited about a treasure hunt. We have to get days like this in before little sister gets here. We're currently in search of nursery decor, baby girl clothing, and also things for E's new room. We have a lot of work to do at our house.
Sadly, I decided to pass on this lovely vintage comforter. It just wasn't the right colors for the nursery, and it was a little too large.

Maybe a little cheery plaid?
Mostly we just ended up with a big bag of assorted ribbon to make bows for sister's hair.
Can you tell he's excited? My friend Jen says never to tell your kids to say cheese when you want to take a good picture of them. No truer words.

I usually don't look for clothing when I'm with E, because it takes too long, although I did have to browse the shoe isle. While I didn't find any great shoes in my size, I did find these:

These babies are genuine leather and canvas. They are size 6 1/2. Officially for sale at the price of $20. Oh how I wish they were my size. They're the perfect heeled oxford for every season. Email me if you're interested. SOLD. (Please keep in mind that shipping charges might apply to those living too far for a meet up.)

Also these super cute neutral Sperry boat shoes. Perfect for spring in a creamy taupe color. Since these are size 6 and not 8, they are also for sale with a price tag of $15. Let me know if you're interested! SOLD.
