For Sale: Vintage Boots

I must apologize for the lack in posts. I'll explain more later. I think I might be back into the swing of things.

I've decided to sell some of my clothing/shoes that are getting absolutely no use. I'm hoping someone with a dainty pair of feet will want these for their own. I wish I could fit into them. I found both pairs thrifting and couldn't pass them up even in the small sizes they are.

VINTAGE PIMENTO RUST SUEDE type ankle boots w/ darling bow accents $10 size 6 1/2 SOLD

I adore these boots. I bought them thinking I could squeeze into them and make them work, but they're just too tight. Please email me if you might be interested.  Similar found here

VINTAGE NINE WEST BLACK LACE UP HALF BOOT w/ black metal hooks and grommets. $15 size 6  SOLD!

These boots are in gorgeous condition. I would have modeled them for you if I could have even fit them on my feet. Oh how I wish they fit. I can think of so many ways to wear them. Similar found here.

While I was away, my friend Jen featured my nautical baby shower on her darling new blog. Please go check out the Utah Baby Blog and say hello!

-shipping charges may apply.

I'm so sorry I didn't post the sizes! The ones with the bows are 6 1/2 and the black 9 west ones are size 6.

Just my size! :) I'm really loving the black pair, so hard to find a great pair of boots like that. And I would love to do an outfit post centered around them.

my email is shines@uoregon.edu if they are still on the market!

You're back!! This makes me so happy. Everyday I would check to see if you had a new post and I seriously just giggled and did a little happy dance in my chair just now when I saw that you had a new post. I am totally not embarrassed of my obsession. I would buy both of those pairs of shoes if they were a size bigger. So cute!

What do you consider vintage and not vintage? What do you consider the time frame to be? A year? 5 years? 10 years? 50 years?

I think the true definition of vintage is anything 20 years or older. I'm definitely not an expert, I just guess based on the tagging.

Gosh, there's actually a lot of debate about what "vintage" actually means. When it comes to clothing I tend to agree with this: "Vintage clothing is a term for garments hailing from another era. Generally speaking, clothing older than 25 years is considered to be vintage, though opinions vary on this definition. Many sellers of vintage clothing consider even more modern pieces to be 'vintage', provided that they are particularly representative of the era in which they were made. For example, the very simple slip dresses that emerged in the early 1990s as an expression of the impact of minimalism and grunge aesthetics on fashion would be considered 'vintage' by many collectors and sellers of vintage clothing."

So glad to see that you're back! Hope you're doing well.

Those shoes are rad. Too bad I missed out on the suede ones. I think those would've fit. I do that all the time with shoes, too!
