I'm kind of happy about the long skirt trend. Longer skirts can be so much more comfortable than shorter skirts. What do you think? Will you wear them?

I have a save money tip! The shoes I'm wearing were originally marked like 30 bucks or something. They were on clearance, and I also noticed a tiny little scuff on the side. (very fixable) I asked the nice little Ross lady if I could get them discounted due to the scuff. It really was pretty tiny, but she gave me 15% off! A lot of times the additional discount means no returns, but at $11 bucks who needs a return policy?
Look for small blemishes that are easy to fix. I feel that if you're purchasing clothing or shoes brand new, they should be in mint condition. If they're not, ask for a discount and fix it yourself!
I've done this thrifting too. I recently bought a skirt marked at $8 for $5 because it had a small tear in the back where the slit was. Once again, easy fix!

I'm tall, but still can't pull off the long skirt look. It's adorable on you, but I have a little waste and bigger hips, so long skirts make me look wider than I really am. I'm loving the plaid shirt!

I think long skirts make legs look longer. I do enjoy maxi skirts. It's great for the colder seasons too when you can slip on the thickest leggings and they will be concealed! I wonder why I don't have much of them!

Anonymous, I know. The shoes were already on clearance, and then she took an additional 15% off of that. I can't remember what they were marked as clearance, I just remember the end result was $11.

I am so happy long skirts are in right now. I've owned a black jersey knit one for a while now and cannot waittttt to break it out as Monday is my last day of the 30x30! It's one of my favorite things to wear - so soft and so comfortable!
