Christmas Cheer from E to you.

I thought I'd pass along a little Christmas cheer to start out the week. We've been getting ready at out house, and working tirelessly to help E perfect his perfect and jolly, straight from the belly "Ho, Ho, Ho."

Huh Ho! from Sarah Larsen on Vimeo.

Somehow it seems that the Santa he's been around has a bad case of the hiccups. He can say so many words, but just can't get that Ho, Ho, Ho out. Oh well. At least he's got the Jesus thing down. That's what's important right?

Things I learned while uploading this video for posting:

1. When the opportunity presents itself I simply can't avoid watching every single video we ever took of my baby boy and realize that as I'm watching them alone at a very late hour, I have a big sappy proud mama grin on my face and a tear in both eyes.
2. When you have a child, time is impossible to contain. It seems it speeds 4 times past the rate it did before he came into our home. How is it that I now have a walking, talking, human being?? The bigger question: How did I even function without him?
3. I have a messy house. It used to be 90% of the time, but it's improving! I think it's now about 50% of the time.
4. I'm terrible at saving the planet. I use my reusable shopping bags for anything but grocery shopping. They make great totes for other random materials.
5.There's a loaded mouse trap under my oven that's been there for who knows how long.
6. I'm singing in this video again. Sorry. It's sort of something we do at our house.
7. I mentioned before that I'm not a huge fan of cutesy sayings on children's clothing. Sometimes when it's about mommy I might be swayed.
8. My E has the best. smile. ever. I remember my friend telling me once something about research that had shown seeing a smile from your own flesh and blood can give you a feeling comparable to the feeling someone gets from using crack.
9. My camcorder is great, but it decided to produce videos in the most unfriendly form available. .MOD. It took me about a half a day to figure out how to convert the file.
10. E baby has the funniest messy curl in this vid. Still not sure how I'm gonna contain his semi- curly locks.

One last thing. Please visit the blog for this cause:

It's a great project on behalf of 2 educators who have lost everything. There are some fabulous items up for grabs including the first ever Nie Nie calender and personal styling by the very fashionable and lovely, Emily Frame. Please check it out when you get a sec.

Oh man I forgot how teeny tiny the little ones could be. How I wish they could stay this small~

MERRY XMAS to your family.

BAH!! He is so stinkin' cute. I'm sad he didn't come to the thrift-a-thon so that I could get my hands on the little cutie pie.

I'm glad your house is messy 50% of the time because so is mine! But I don't even have a kid so I don't know what my excuse is...
