{Simple} Fall Birthday Dinner

Here are a few more pictures from the birthday dinner I put on for my neighbor/BFF. During the Priesthood session of conference we got together as ladies for a nice little dinner. This is where I have to make a confession: I could post all the lovely pics and play it off like all of this was simply done no sweat. I have to be honest. Little E had gotten his shots and was also not feeling well. He wanted his mama to hold him all. day. long. Normally I would happily oblige. I tried throughout the day to balance holding him and loving him, yet still getting the dinner and decor ready. The dinner was set for 6:30, and I showed up at 6:20 to set everything up, with -raw- chicken. Needless to say, the dinner was quite delayed, and there was plenty of "sweat" involved. Everything turned out alright, thanks to a lot of helpful friends. [Thanks girls!] I just wanted to point out that all is not smooth in the "planning" business. In fact...it never is.
Can you tell I'm loving my twine?
On the Menu: crunchy whole wheat chicken tenders

 Fresh farmer's market veggies.

Dipping sauce varieties.
Homemade peach jam. [I wanted to drink it Kerrian.]

Also, I have some business. The winner of the Nancy Drew headband [chosen at random by random.org] from Wendy and Peter is:

Samantha!

Send me an email with your address info and color choice, and we'll get you taken care of.

Second item of business: I will be holding a clothing/yard sale this weekend @ 332 W. 950 N. Centerville, UT. I also have some cute holiday decor, pillows, and a few handmade bows.

A sampling of some of the items I'll be selling. Stop by if you're in the area!

If I were a rich jet setter, i'd fly on over there for your yard sale. Instead, I think I'll end up going to the local library with my girls. I love my girls an' all, but I think I know where I'd rather be ;) Good luck and have fun!

I wish we were headed down! We're going north this weekend. I hope your sale goes wonderfully!

What size shoes do you where? I'm looking for some cute boots and I like the tan ones in your photo... but if they aren't going to fit, I'm not sure its worth fighting with my kids to get out the door.

Unfortunately for me, I bet my waist and shoe size would be WAY to big to entertain thoughts of fitting into your cuteness!
