Family Day at the Farm

On Monday, E and I really lucked out. We had our dad for the entire day. [He had the day off.] So, we decided to visit Wheeler Historic Farm. E loves the animals, and we love watching E love the animals.
This is E's best Moo face.

Across the way, we spotted some bunnies. E's scrunchy bunny nose is much better than mine.
Hello Horsee. In E's world they're called "sees" and they go: "hee hee hee."
We found a fun chair. [He's holding rocks. He obsesses over them. Scoops them, throws them, carries them, eats them.]
Oh how I wish you could hear E's oink. It sounds more like a gag reflex.
Those pigs were chowin' down on pumpkin rinds. I guess they'll eat anything.
He kept signing "please." He really wanted to swim with the ducks.
This is an old fashioned underground cellar. E found it to be a little spooky.
This had to have been E's favorite part of the entire day. Crawling up and down the stairs to this old historic farm house. He loves to identify homes and say the word "house."
Our best shot at an unassisted family photo.

Just recently discovered your blog and really enjoying it. Your little boy is sooooo adorable. Just want to sop him up with a biscuit! This post bring back memories of when my kids were little and we used to take trips to the farm. One thing my dad always said which is so true: The days go by slowly but the years pass by so quickly. Enjoy this special time in your life!
