Really Frugal Fashion:Linen Dress

Sometimes the DI teaches me a lesson in fashion. I saw this dress on the rack and immediately thought eew. Linen. Generally, I hate linen. I hate wearing it, I hate ironing it, and I hate that it takes .2 seconds for it to wrinkle in every direction. When I saw that the price was all of $6 I decided it was a classy and simple dress that I wouldn't mind owning for $6. Do you see that little blue label? It says Faconnable. I had no clue what that meant, until I googled it. Check out the prices of the Faconnable items retailed exclusively through Nordstrom. Good deal? I think so.

P.S. I want to thank so many of you for all the sweet comments about my haircut. It was a big change for me, and I felt so good after reading the notes.

I have a love/hate relationship with linen. I love the idea of it, but oh, the wrinkles! That dress is adorable though. How did the wrinkles play out by the end of the day?

Wow! So cute, and that's an amazing deal! My personal favorite part, though, is those shoes!

Do you take some kind of lucky charm when you go bargain hunting? I've tried a couple of times, and came back once, with a scarf. I couldn't wash the smell out of it. It went straight back to the charity shop I got it from. ;)

I agree about linen. I love the way it looks on everyone else, but I hate the frumpy feel! It looks super cute on you though!!!
