In honor of the birthday girl, we headed off to a warmer place for a little get-a-way time. (Okay so it had more to do with a softball tournament, but I'll take it.) I must say that amongst sunshine and scenery, I'm a happy lady.
St. George, Utah
I learned an important lesson while driving to, from, and around. Vacation will never be the same since the addition of baby E. He did not enjoy riding in the car for over an hour. He did not appreciate sleeping in a pack and play for 3 nights, he did not care for an adjusted schedule.
Basking in the sun (slathered in sunscreen of course) and watching some softball.
The birthday queen and her prince.
My birthday happens to be the official first day of Spring. My one request was to spend lots of time with my family in the Spring weather. E was a particular beneficiary of this request. See evidence below:
banana splits and moonlight hot tubbing,
Biggest birthday hug from my niece,
soothing my road trip lag (just made that term up) with a finger full of frosting.
and of course I had to share the birthday love with my favorite prince:
He feels entitled to anything edible.
Oh and one more thing:
There was even a celebration when I arrived back to work.
Under the category BAD highlights, my baby is really sick. He ended up in the ER with an RSV scare. Praying that he gets better soon.
