Remember when I was itching? It didn't take long for us (Trav and I) to get on top of it. I decided to go with white frames and black and white pictures. I felt that the white would brighten the space, and the black and white pictures were the classiest option. My husband is a champ. He LOATHES putting holes in our walls. (I guess he should have thought about a hole-less prenup, but I know the decorator in me just wouldn't have been able to comply.)
I lined out the grouping on the floor, and he took it from there. I must mentioned that all frames came from the thrift store, and cost under $5 a piece. I sprayed them white with a can of $3 spray paint. What do you think?
My next project is to find some cute nick nacks to decorate the buffet underneath. For now I have a few vintage items I've picked up at the D.I. the cute tea cup and saucer was $1, and I picked up the vintage tea treasure for .50.
Oh, and since our wall was pinch free green, we decided to be festive too. Belated St. Patty's greetings!
