Snap, Crackle, Pop

Look what Huns brought home...

I haven't had these since I was little. I used to pour cavity causing amounts of sugar over my bowl of plain Rice Krispies in order to make them edible. Most of that sugar would sink to the bottom of the bowl and wait for me to scrape it up with my spoon along with 1 or 2 Krispies. This resulted in the perfect sugar to cereal ratio. I also used to make Rice Krispie treats with my Gram whenever humanly possible. Then bless the good folks at Kellogs, they came up with the ingenious idea of bridging the gap between the plain cereal and the Rice Krispie treats. I mean- why wouldn't they just turn the treats into the cereal? The only reason people purchase the plain Rice Krispies anyway is to make the treats, and who doesn't like to eat treats for breakfast?

What the...!!?? Rice Krispies have more to their line than just the regular (boring, tasteless - and yes, a cereal that really DOES require a whole load of sugar dumped on top to taste good) puffed rice!?

The UK sucks. We get nuffin' nice over here.

Oh my gosh this was like reading right into my thoughts because I used to do the same thing to get the sugar to cereal ratio with rice krispies, cherios, and of course grape nuts :) :)
