Really Frugal Fashion:Pencil Skirt

I did a little shopping this weekend. A black pencil skirt is a must have item in any girl's closet. With a little help from the metabolism boost I call Breast Feeding,(seriously, I'm terrified to quit.) I was in need of a smaller replacement for my old one. I've always been a fan of this skirt from shade with pleats in the front. I tried it on and contemplated purchasing at the sale price of $21.99. But I'm cheap, or as I like to call it: thrifty. So I made my way to the very thrifty Deseret Industries. This time it was the one in Sugar House which is quite large and usually has really good hidden treasures if you're willing to look. I scored this Banana Republic skirt with the same pleats for $5.  Did I mention it's in mint condition?
I also got the shirt (Banana Republic $6) and the purse ($3). Outfit total: You do the math. Gotta love thrifting!

Okay very cool coincidence because I found a brown Banana Republic skirt at the DI this weekend and wore it to church Sunday! Except mine was $10!! Everything is more expensive in Las Vegas. Love your blog.
