A certain someone was making fun of the meal that Travis lovingly calls Dogs. This someone couldn't understand why you would need to "slow cook" items that are already cooked. I thought I would share it with all of you because it really is a yummy summer meal.

  • 1 pkg Hot Dogs
  • 1 pkg Hot Dog Buns
  • 2 Cans Chili
  • 1 Can Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Fritos

Add Hot Dogs, Chili, and soup to the Crock-Pot and cook on low heat for 5-6 hrs. You can cook them on high for 3-4 hrs for quicker results. Put the "Dog" in a bun and spread the chili on top. Dress with shredded cheddar cheese and Fritos as desired.

We use turkey chili and turkey hot dogs to make a little bit healthier. Good Luck- it's super messy!

Our neighbors gave us two huge bags of hot dog buns so we have been eating more hot dogs then normal lately. This might be a good way to spice it up a bit :)
